Aftercare

My aftercare regiment is similar to other traditional aftercare routines. I do advise to keep it as natural as possible when introducing products to your wound.

Following your tattoo you, you will either receive an invisible bandage or a gauze pad/saran wrapped bandage

After you remove your aftercare bandage, you will rinse your tattoo with warm water and a regular fragrance free soap of your choosing. I do not recommend antibacterial soap. Towel pat your tattoo dry and moisturize with very thin layer of moisturizer. I typically recommend shea butter, coco butter, or coconut oil for those that aren’t allergic

Refrain from picking/scratching your tattoo as it scabs and heals. Apply moisturizer lightly to areas that are itchy to relieve discomfort. Please plan your vacations under the sun and at the beach or pool around your tattoo appointment so you are prepared to heal your piece in the right conditions.
